What is the "Leaning T Rodeo Team"

The Leaning T Rodeo Team is a dedicated group of riders who represent Leaning T Ranch & Cattle Co. in rodeo competition, horsemanship, and the Western way of life. This team exists to carry the values of our ranch beyond the pasture and into the arena—bridging the gap between real ranch work and competitive performance. Built on hard work, consistency, and respect for the horse, our team reflects the same standards we live by every day. Riders are expected to demonstrate solid horsemanship, strong character, and a willingness to put in the work- both in competition and behind the scenes.

The Leaning T Rodeo Team is intentionally selective, but not exclusive in the traditional sense. We recognize that talent and dedication don’t always come with access. There are capable riders who, for one reason or another, no longer have the horses, resources, or opportunities they need to continue pursuing the sport.

That’s where we step in.

A core goal of the Leaning T Rodeo Team is to create opportunity where it’s often missing. For riders who have the ability, the work ethic, and the right mindset -but lack access- we aim to provide a path forward. Whether that means access to horses, support in competition, or simply a chance to get back in the arena, we are committed to helping the right individuals continue doing what they’re built to do. In return, our riders take on the responsibility of representing Leaning T with integrity. This includes how they ride, how they care for their horses, how they interact with others, and how they carry themselves in public and within the rodeo community. We value authenticity, accountability, and a genuine respect for the lifestyle we represent.

Our team may include a mix of developing and experienced competitors, but all members share a common standard: they are dependable, coachable, and aligned with the values that define this ranch. We are not built solely on wins, but on producing capable horsemen and horsewomen who can be trusted in any setting. The Leaning T Rodeo Team is more than a group of competitors- it’s a commitment.
